BUG: I shot my axe at the troll and led him into the river. I couldn't get my axe back :(
If you spam hold K you can get 2 axes. It doesn't really do much tho
There are a lot of texture issues regarding water if you lead the troll in you can see his head.
YOu can see the rocks below the ground
If you throw your axe at the troll, and then stand directly under the troll and call the axe back the troll will die in like 5 seconds cause the axe can't return through the troll and so deals the troll damage
Facing the wall at the start and throwing your axe makes it go through the wall
This is just a very nice game overall but the Enemies don't agro when you hit them with the axe and there is no dodging and that makes the boss fight be more of jump in front of the boss and just abuse the fact he can't hit you when you are close to him and there still some bugs but I think what you did is the it has ever been done and if you want you could even make your own game from this becouse we are all thirsty for a game like this set in the norse mithology and we all overall like the way vikings look

I came across this little project while browsing through the retro jam and loved the way you envisioned this game in the style of the SNES! The axe mechanic was fantastic!

How exactly are you supposed to cross the river at the very start of the game?
The jump is too short by a couple pixels.

yaaa i agree the main focus of this game for me was creating the art
Nice game if you want suggestions for update you should add the thor boss but all in all great game.

haha thanks! ya it was originally supposed to be for NES buuut I was matching the color constraints for the NES so i had to switch to snes haha
